Privacy Policy
Last updated October 28, 2026. Pro Society is published by Streamline Propulsion (“we”, “us”). It is private by default. This explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Your profile: name, username, bio, photo, and birth year (used only to confirm you are old enough to use the app). We do not ask for your email address or phone number.
What you create: posts, photos, videos, Hub messages, direct messages, Needs & Haves, goals, life events, timeline events, and which communities you open them to.
Community activity: memberships, roles, votes, and actions that keep communities running, such as who manages them.
Purchases: wallet top-ups and weekly charges. Payment details are handled by Apple or Google; we never see your card.
Technical data needed to run the service: your time zone, error reports when the app crashes, and basic service logs. An error report contains the error message, the screen it happened on, your phone’s operating system (iOS or Android) and the app version. We use error reports only to find and fix problems, never for analytics or advertising.
We do not collect your email address, phone number, location, contacts, browsing history, or your device’s advertising identifier.
Who sees it
Your posts are visible only to you until you open them to a community. Then only that community’s current members can see them.
Your profile is visible only to people who share a community with you, and to a Manager reviewing your request to join.
Posts you keep on your profile are visible to everyone you share a community with, now or in future, and may appear in their community feeds.
Direct messages are seen only by the two people in the conversation. If someone reports a message, the Pro Society team sees that message to review it.
Your list of communities is never public. There is no public feed.
A small number of authorized Pro Society staff can view accounts and the content shared in them, including private posts, to review reports, enforce the Community Guidelines, keep people safe and meet legal obligations. Every staff action is logged.
We do not sell your personal information, use it for advertising, or track you across other apps and websites.
How long we keep it
Photos on normal posts are deleted after 30 days unless you keep the post on your profile. Videos are always deleted after 30 days.
Communities end after 30 days. Their Hub conversations, timeline, roles and community profile are deleted then.
Needs & Haves, goals and life events stay on your profile until you delete them.
Deleting your account removes your profile, feeds, posts, photos, profile items and your direct message conversations (for both people in them). Wallet and billing records may be kept as long as the law requires.
Service providers
We use these companies to run Pro Society. They handle data only to provide their service to us:
Supabase: database, sign-in, file storage and servers. Cloudflare: bot protection at sign-in (Turnstile), video hosting (Stream) and this website. RevenueCat: processing in-app purchases and reporting on them (for example, how many top-ups are bought). Apple and Google: app distribution and payments.
Children
Pro Society is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 is using the app, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete the account.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, change who sees each post and profile item, block people, and delete your account from the app (Menu → Delete account).
To ask for a copy of your data or anything else about privacy, contact [email protected].
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and tell you in the app.
